You can put an actual gun in the Northwest. My house has several. However, for the symbolism, I put in the Northwest a tiger figurine.
I know the engine of my vision is also my animal-emotional mind. However, if I do not wield that mind, do not master lust and rage: it will devour me and keep me from my target.

Like a gun, the animal vehicle needs awareness and discipline to carry. And like the gun is symbolized here; the animal mind will fire down that bindu tunnel our soul goes through at death to the heavens; or that same emotional-mind, as an OS with AI and no command line interface, unconscious: can drag us to the lowest realms.
The animal mind has exponential power compared to the conscious mind; but that angel nature needs to aim it.
As an aether Death itself goes with HJ: the passage through the terror of silence. The change will not snuff you out; but all you will have is what is permanent about you. So equip yourself like an armed man, as Solomon says; or as in the case of the card, equip yourself like URANEH.
